Re: Reggae International
Nice on the credits Bing!
Rainbow has more of a '70s ska sound. I like it, I mean it's Ska, so of course I like it, but Authentic Train is getting played more. I'm partial to the '60s ska sound, I guess.
Before I give the wrong impression, it is good '70s style ska.
When you get it, let me know what you think.
Peace,
James

Re: Reggae International
COOK BOOK on Rainbow is a cover of Lee Perry's PUSS IN BAG.
It took me an hour to transcribe that one due to the thick accent of Sir Perry
and his lewd lyrics.

well, here in brazil we have firebug, they play a fine mix of ska, rocksteady, reggae and dub. check them out at www.firebug.com.br and www.myspace.com/firebugbrazil
and from nearby argentina there's satélite kingston, which also plays traditional ska, reggae, rocksteady, but in different shapes. you can check them out at www.satelitekingston.com.ar
if only i received money for this...

I'm listening now to Fat Freddy's Drop, reggae-dub from New Zealand. Didn't listen to the whole album yet but so far is ok.
