I can't remember which Studio he goes into (ie. which part of the movie it is), but I think there are two possibilities. Either Jacob Miller ('fat' guy) or Kiddus I, but I think the latter is alone in the studio of Jack Ruby when recording, no band, so Jacob Miller might be the one you mean.

Yeah, I just checked that piece of the movie. Had been a long while since I saw it, but it is indeed the Kiddus I part after the painting of the bike. I didn't remember any artists being in the studio then but indeed there clearly are (how could I forget! :-S ) and indeed it's Robbie pon bass in Joe Gibbs.

The part for me was seeing Jacob Miller run down Horsemouth in de yard after he and Harry tried to eat up his food.."Don't seh nuttin' y'kno..don't seh nuttin'.." "Yuh eat up mi food mon.." "Screw fi dat Rasta..cha'"
