Political correctness? Not in Reggae!!!

Post by leggo rocker »

Political Correctness, or PC as it is known, is for some the scourge of the modern world.

For those that don't know, this is the trend to shun or even legislate against, sexist comments or thought. It also includes anti racist element. While I applaud any move to end racism, I'm not sure that not being able to offer someone coffee and ask them if they like it black or white, is maybe going way too far!

But it seems it missed the reggae world which even today seems to be pretty unaffected by it. Particularly the sexist angle!

I thought it might be a cool thread to list some LPs or tracks that fly in the face of this sexist PC vibe.

Please stick to the thread, don't turn this into a discussion about racism. Do that in another thread. This one's for outragiously sexist songs or LPs.

over my dead body will i wash clothes for a woman, over my dead body will i make tea for a woman'. lol, pc, not.

safe journey leggo, may the road rise with you.

The funny thing though is that it was women that bought the slackness music to a large extent.
