Re: wat about the Jewels albums?
I believe they cut more than an album judging from what they released, but there has never been an lp out there by the Jewels, so look no further...
It seems like the only track compilers want nowadays on their cds is the one and only Jah I like Trojan , Auralux, Nineys labels, its a great track, but there is so much more.
Very underrated group, talented indeed

Re: wat about the Jewels albums?
You are both so very right.
It really is time to collect all Jewels' recordings and give them the reputation they deserve.
Right now you can get the 12" version of 'Jah I' on the new Auralux collection on Niney production called 'Sufferation' and still there is the great 'Observation Station' album from Trojan records that features two songs of Jewels' lead Glasford Manning (aka Porti), namely 'Mr.Bigman' and 'Prophecy call'.
The best and hardest Jewels-tune has not been available for nearly 20 years, the mighty 'Love and Livity'.

Yes Belly, Leggo B has yet to repress those tunes, long overdue isn't it? Hopefully the cd's will create more interest in the Jewels' music

Belly, not to be nitpicky or whatever, but the Niney compilation Observation Station came out through Heartbeat in Boston, not Trojan. I believe this Cd is now deleted so move fast and grab it if you see it around
