Greetings,
Does anyone have any more information on the Voice Roys (i.e. names of the singers, other material, etc)? They have 3 killer rocksteady tracks on the wonderful compilation Send Request: http://www.roots-archives.com/release/3 ... ight=46487. At first, I thought that it was some incarnation of the Viceroys, but now I'm not sure. All three tracks are voiced over the same rhythm, but I still listen to each every time through. "Never Give Up" is probably my personal favorite.
Praises,

Re: Voice Roys?
nice interview....
"Q: What was the name-change to 'Voice-Roys' about? I assume this was in the hands of Coxson?
A: It's a mistake, it's 'V - i - c - e - r - o - y - s'. But they put 'V - o - i - c - e', yunno. It wasn't my idea, but because they was up to some trickery they do that. I saw the record, yeah. "

I miss vocal harmony groups. One major thing he said there was that the young people like this rap music and dee jaying stuff, but there are some who love roots rock reggae
