Lion. I don't see this particular LP in wackies.de listing. Have you actually seen THIS on re-issue.

I may love original vinyl but a thousand bucks for ONE LP I just can't do - I'd rather have 100 good 12 inch 45s!

A true Leggo.
But all i want to say is that reissue program of Bullwackies is going well.
Sooner or later they release this album hopefully.

"Free For All Dub" was recorded by Bullwackie Allstars and produced by Lloyd Barnes.

This album however is not on the Wackies label.
Is the Aries label affiliated to Wackies ?

The recording on this album are nearly all dubs to Little Roy vocal tracks but, as far as I know, he never recorded for Wackies.

Therefore who may hold the rights to this material.

If it was Lloyd Barnes / Wackies then surely somewhere it would be listed even though it is long deleted.

I think that Little Roy created the Tafari Syndicate in 1974 and Aries was a label used for releasing music in the States.

Lloyd Barnes and Munchie Jackson were associates to Little Roy on these projects.

I believe the rights to this album are with Little Roy and not Lloyd Barnes hence the reason it is not in his catalogue.

I cannot see this album getting re-issued so whoever wants it are going to have to big bucks.

I've always understood that Aries is indeed one of Barnes' labels. Along with City Line, Senrab and more.

But you may be right Dave, the rights may sit elsewhere.
