Does anyone know where I could possibly get a copy of this LP? Very hard (for me, at least..) to find!
IF I could purchase the vinyl LP I could "convert" it... OR, does anyone perhaps already have it on a CD-R or in MP3 (w/ reasonably good quality) ??
Thanks for the help/direction.
Respect, TJ

I have Cancer Dub.
It comes up on ebay once in a while and rarely achieves anything like the price it deserves (when compared to some of the poor sounding stuff that sells at premium prices).
IMHO it's an excellent LP.
And the copy I have here is stone MINT!

I-Lion,
Wow, Hotta Yatta may be harder to find than World On Fire and Cancer ... Any other 'tings you may be interested in? I have CD-R's of:
**Bionic Dub** (The Dub Specialist)
**Better Dub** (The Dub Specialist)
**Hi Fashion Dub Top 14** (The Dub Specialist)
This release has a few extra tracks than Hi Fashion Dub Top Ten (see: http://www.downbeat-special.co.uk/DUB/hifashion14.html)
**Reggay Roots** (VA compilation) -- This has a *killa version* of "Baby Why" by the Cables & Prince Jazzbo!
I have a GOOD amount of other tunes, these are just some of the (maybe) 'harder to find' that I've collected...

Bionic and Better Dub aren't really rare as they are on re-issues.
Terrible pressings though!
Especially Bionic Dub, another Studio One disk that sounds like it is being played underwater while frying eggs...

Leggo,
Wow!! "underwater while frying eggs..." LOL!!!
Didn't mean to suggest they were "rare" or anything like that... they were just not that easy for me to get ahold of... And yes, the quality is truly not the best, but hey, it's "real" and I guess reflects the conditons that the artists recorded under in the Studio at that time.... if that makes any sense?
Have you heard of **"I & I Tunes"** ?? Check this out, you'll likely get a chuckle: http://uncarved.org/blog/?p=839
Peace!

TJ
I think the sound quality of these Studio One pressings is more to do with conditions in the pressing shop than studio.
And thanks for that link. I really enjoyed reading that and also delving back into the uncarved blog/site in general. Great stuff. I am inspired!
Time for me to learn HTML so I don't have to rely on other people to make leggorockers.com look nice (as you can see from the site, the 'other people' haven't done anything and it looks awful!)

Right Leggo,
got the reissue of ´Hi Fashion Dub Top Ten´ last
year & the sound quality is tremendous...
Was pressed presumably in a chip shop & the guy
who put it into the sleeve had finished his
15th burger coz the oily fingerprints on my vinyl are
quite remarkable.
