Hi,
I have never heard this Prince Jammy album, what tracks are these dubs to and are they any good.
Respect and Thanks

I like this set, it is a good LP. Typical Jammy style from that era.
And go to the link below to find the answer to your other question (and many similar questions - although I think there are often many other answers to which tune to which dub so maybe he is listing the original? I dunno!):

I have bought it on eBay and it should be coming soon but the songs Throne of Blood, Fist of Fury and Shaolin Temple are featured on the Trojan Dub Massive Chapter 1&2. Throne of Blood and Fist of Fury are fantastic, thats what made me buy the album so if the other songs holds that standard than OMG.

Hi Sean,
I purchased this album last weekend and have had a chance to listen to it and the tracks immediately came back to me as ones i`d listened to many years ago when 2nd generation dub was in full swing.
Everyone`s entitled to their opinion, but how can you say this is the worst dub record you`ve ever heard.I know your a big fan of Scientist but this is easily on a par with his work from this same period.
Sorry to disagree but imo you`ve got this call wrong.
Respect
Dave

I don't like much of Jammy's dubs but as far as Jammy goes that is the best, and not bad id seh. if you listen.
Scientist is my choice ina this style over Jammy

´Downtown Shanghai Rock´ is worth the price alone.
The entire album is KILLER no filler & sorry Sean,
if this album ist the worst you´ve heard yet,
I´m just curious which is your favourite then?

Hi Gibey
I totally agree with you. In fact, when I first visited this site I put Kamikazi as my favourite dub album on the relevant thread.
Regarding "Downtown..." there is a subtlety I absolutely love. Everything seems so understated. The crepuscular bass line and that snare drum triplet (?) played, by the sound of it, one handed and that sax. Particularly when it kicks in for the second time (3 mins 20 seconds?). Murder!
