peter tosh - didn't give a shit about the establishment and sang some great political songs..who can forget "Equal rights and justice..down in rhodesia, down in angola, down in palestine"

also a great political song, Reggae Regular's "Ghetto Rock"..

Neville Martin "The Message" its relaese was credited with swinging the '76 JA election the way of Michael Manley's PNP. The vocals run through all the PNP's policies and initiatives including free education, basic schools, adult literacy, equal pay, minimum wage etc etc.
