Reggae wanted on CD

Post by Rootsman »

Hi Guys.

I am going to be bold and ask a real big favour.

I have been trying to find these titles on CD but have come to the conclusion that they are either extremely hard to find or are not available in that format.

The titles are

Dub Merchant - Mikey Dread
Dub Catalogue - Mikey Dread
Jungle Signal - Mikey Dread
Folly Ranking - Johnny Osbourne
Nightfall - Johnny Osbourne
Warrior - Johnny Osbourne
We Must Unite - Viceroys
Reggae Dance - Little John
Moneyman Skank - Half Pint
If Jah Should Come Now - Rod Taylor
Come Ethiopians - Phillip Fraser
Only Jah Can Ease the Pressure - Earl Zero
Nebuchadnezzar King Of Babylon - Fred Locks
Changes - Mighty Diamonds
What a Gathering - Mike Brooks
Wiser Dread - Various Artists
Knotty Vision - Various Artists
Joe Gibbs Revive 45`s - Various Artists

Does anyone have any of these titles and are willing to burn a CD for me ?

I will of course cover any cost that is incurred.

If this is possble and you can help, please PM me.

To the Moderators, I hope this post is not deemed unsuitable and I apologise if I have broken any guidelines.

Thanks

Regards

Dave

Hi Dave

I've got "Changes" by Mighty Diamonds on vinyl. I'll be able to get that digitised in the near future for you.

Warrior by Johnny Osbourne is definitely available on CD. It was reissued in 2006 as a double album with Come Back Darling on Winston Riley's Techniques label. This should be relatively easy to find.

Johnny Osbourne's Warrior is available on ebreggae.com

Earl Zero's- Only Jah Can Ease..... is available at www.earlzero.com

Great list of CDs you have listed. I bought the Warrior disc and it's worth owning. I'd love to have the Rod Taylor and Viceroy stuff. Viceroys' We must Unite is available on Sankofa but good luck finding a way to order it.
P.S. Buying the Earl Zero disc directly feeds the man who made the music.
