i have a program i use for the group i play wit to make dub tracks outta instrumental roots jams. called Sound Forge. it can take a track and you can add adjustable delays, echos, reverbs, wah effects, flange, phaser, chorus, pretty much everything needed to dub out the sound. a computer program like this would be easier than trying to acquire an echo pedal, delay pedal, etc. good luck beats

I used Reason 3 on the PC extensively to make Mighty Dub. I also used a Korg em 1 and Korg Es 1 in some places - coupled with a MIDI keyboard attached to my roland sound module. I used real bass and real guitar and used and alesis multiverb and korg a5 for fx (as well as countless fx built in to reason 3)

The results of all this can be heard on www.last.fm/music/mightyz

Reason 3 is the answer guys - you seem to have missed my post earlier - all you need then is your PC/Mac!

I use other instruments too with Reason 3 as a backing - but I also have done tracks exclusively on Reason 3.

Check out the soundclick link on my signature, then listen to some of the tracks, all have Reason 3 as a significant part, Automatic Dub was made ONLY using Reason 3.

Let me know what you think

I don't think you will find any freeware to come even close to Reason
