Negril

Post by benjamin »

Dear all,
Have a song called Rasta from Negril. Very impressive. Original instrumental roots featuring fantastic musicians and produced by the great eric gale (american guitarist playing with joe higgs). I see on the roots archives only one album. Any other info, how to get it. Is the rest of the album as impressive as this Rasta song?
Thanks

the rest of the album is quite good, benjamin. i would recomend picking this one up. i actually think the other tracks on the album are stronger than rasta, with more melodic lead guitar. the album has a nice jazz/funk vibe to it, but true to the roots.
i downloaded this album from soulseek, you could find it there for sure.

peace
