earth and stone also released in 1978"back to africa"which is not in the same vein as "kool roots"but still very good.the line up features,if iam not mistaken,philip fraseras for "the regulars"they made an appearance at the rockpalast in 1979;so if you can trace back this at the rockpalastarchive.de.i think there is a chance to order this concert from there.the rockpalast series include many stuffs such as the steel pûlse,aswad,chalice,toots and the maytals and black uhuru among other concerts

indeed the hitbound revolutionary sound from channel one is a wicked compilation:but i onlu have it on cassette and would like to have it on cd.'i know myself'by ernest wilson drives me crazy

Apart from Phillip Fraser, there are also tunes by the Gaylads on the Back To Africa LP..

In Fact, the album should be called "Phillip Fraser - With Earth & Stone and The Gaylads" cause the only good (I mean, great ROOTS...)tracks are from Phil Fraser;;; very disappointing album for the Earth & Stone part, specially when comparing to "Kool Roots"... (of course it's my humble opinion...)

@Mashdown45.. it's nice to see you around here too... I've been out from B&F for a while... is there any other of your mixes available? I have only pt.1 to pt.4 and they are all WICKED stuff!! I always have them playing on my car...
