seeking dub advice

so to whomever is listening out there.... lately i've really been diggin on a late seventies sound that i've found on three different albums. one being mad professor's dub me crazy pt. 3, the other prince far I cry tuff encounter III, and the last on a sly and robbie taxi sound auralux comp. the songs are all really rootsy and soulful but they stink of an aggressive produciton real rough and rugged. really raw, almost angry tweaking (think dennis brown don't wanna be no general).

it's not necessarily king jammy's digital revolution, but it's not that far off. but, my limited knowledge of the genre has put me in a funk. i've been goin down the blood and fire route, but although the tappa zukie/tubby/yabby you stuff is really hot it's not really the genere i'm tryin to find.

i feel like king jammy is my answer, it's not too far off from scientist (whom i love. that vampires album is fire). but i just don't know.

any clues?

im not sure if this is what you are looking for but when i hear king jammy i think DIGITAL. maybe check these if you looking for some dub idk.

The sounds you refer to aren't really 70s.

They mark the start of the 80s and the radics/scientist era - when Revolutionaries gave way to the Radics as THE backing band to have on your records.

But I think you might find you like the Adrian Sherwood sound:

I've mentioned this over and over again, but Lee Perry - Megaton Dub 1 & 2 are still the best dub albums, imo. Any 7" with an Upsetter Dub on the flip side is almost gauranteed to be killer. Check Prince Far I and the Arabs - Cry Tuff Dub Encounter II if you can find the vinyl, or check Prince Far I Dubwise (tracks 8 and above) for some wicked dubbing as well... More rootsy tracks than Cry Tuff III. I do also enjoy the Prince Jammy - Kamikazi Dub and The Scientist Vampires albums in my favorite of The Scientist.

Also, of course, Hugh Mundell - Africa Must Be Free By 1983 Dub is killer!

back´, totally underrated & heavier than led!
Probably one of the very last dub classics which
emerged from Channel One in 1983.
