Trevor Jr. with Little John

I've got an mp3 album (given by a friend) in a showcase style, and it says "TREVOR JR. with LITTLE JOHN - Showcase"...

It has 6 tracks, and I'd say almost 100% sure that the first 3 tracks are from Trevor Jr. and the last 3 are from Little John...

It's a very nice mix of Roots & Lover's Rock, all versions extended.... a really nice album... (first song is CRUCIAL)....

I tried to track down the info on the web and couldn't find anything...

Anyone knows, has or ever heard/seen the original...and could share some more info? When it was released?? Pon which label? Musicians?

its on sir tommy's label and its called sir tommy's showdown vol. 1. im pretty sure its the gifted roots band backing. it came out around 86 or 87.

thats a murder lp....i know a few people that have that lp on vinyl....there is also a sir tommys vol 2 thats super hard too.
