it seems to me guys that african language by jackie edwards seems to be one of the most sought-aftre recordings ever.and yet,one of the best recordings by jamaican crooners
i would be glad to have it as well as"meditations heights"by harold bytler

Re: african language
You looking for just the song 'African Language' or the LP? Even though I got some good stuff for it, I still feel a bit foolish for trading that LP some years ago.
African Language is one of my favorite songs by JE.
Don't have a spare of the 45rpm but can help you with an mp3 sendspace or email.
Think African Language was also put out on a Heartbeat CD if I'm not mistaken.

Re: african language
hi side
iam loooking for the whole lp.it really drives me crazy and saddens me to know that jackie edwards passed away without getting the due recognition while other lesss talented artists do.i love the whole lp"clock on te wall""be strong" etc..i mean i love the whole lp and i know it's a very hard to get gem,as well as the laro and eddie lovetts i have been wanting for over 25 years, not mentioned the harrie mudie-produced 45 and 12"inch(mostly those instrumentals versioned by vin gordon on trombone)
would be delighted to have some of those and god knows there is not a single chance to get them over here
