Is Ranking Dread the 70s/80s deejay dead or alive? If alive, where is he today?

I was doing some research and read about a Ranking Dread caught up in the drug crime scene of the 80s in Toronto, Canada and New York City...not sure if it's the same person. Help!

He is dead, apparently got poisoned in a JA prison in 1996, even though some suggests 1986. Whatever, he's gone. Was a real badman, a shame.

He and soooo many others!

I lived near Dublin many for a few years in the early 80s and the lack of respect there for UK Babylon law was simnply wonderful to behold!

Being a fugitive from the English was a badge of honour rather than one of shame!


I've given the original Ranking Dread thread the kiss of life. So now we have two in the list at the same time.
