U-Roy riddim original, can you help?

Post by Marky Dread »

i picked up "U-Roy Meets King Tubbys" (AttackCD13), and i am blown away by what i have heard... track 6 is called "heavy duty" and is a really bright and bubbly festival song - reminds me of "rent man" by max romeo... what is the original track? it's GREAT! the cd (all vinyl transfers) is really amazing - but goes from THUNDEROUS lows and PIERCING highs to low volume, highly compressed... the lack of any liner notes (boo, hiss!) are a minus, but give it a chance - listen to it on amazon.com...
thanks in advance for any help with the track!

"Heavy Duty" is on Jackie Edwards' "This Is Another Festival" rhythm, released on Grounation 7 inch.

"Jump For Joy" is based on Johnny Clarke's "Joyfull Festival".
