:(
Sadly, add the cost of an Air Ticket to JA from the UK and the price goes up a wee bit. Otherwise, I'd be 'pon me way to Tuff Gong RIGHT NOW

Ahore...but if ya going anyway, it well worth the stop to pick some up "for a song"....LOL....
An online website would be tough for Jamaican record shops. The shipping and taxes would be a killer on both ends.
Still, if you plan a trip, it is good to know that spending 1/2 a day @ various record shops, is an irie way to spend time.....visiting recording studios is also a must....you neva know who gonna show. Some well known artists sing tracks "on the side" in between gigs for extra cash.....I have been lucky running into some very well known roots-singers~

If I went to JA I would spend ALL my time in record shops and hanging around studios like a starry eyed groupie. Except at night when I would brave the dancehalls!

Sounds like the way to spend your time - no doubt about it!

As for 'braving the dancehalls' well, if god forbid, it all went wrong and you ended your days inna dance in JA, having just spent your last few days trawling shops like tuff gong and visiting studios like channel one...
...would that be such a bad way to go?

I was thinking along those exact lines MightyZ

Not suere what would get me first though, some gunman or a heart attack from the sight of all the booty winding in the dancehall!
