Rarest LP's/artists to be re-issued?

Post by Javier »

Which are the rarest LP's or artists to be-reissued yet?
I read about someone called McWoner or sth like that that recorded in Channel One, early eighties. A rare album for me it's the 12 tribe showcase, stuf like that.
Which are the unsung heroes we (the majority) don't know yet?
PLS contribute...
Blessed!

I don't understand the question entirely. Are you asking for records that are going to be re-released or for records that haven't been re-released yet (and probably never will either)?

There are tons of extremely records that never will be reissued because they suck.

One of the few records I really want to see re-released is Raymond Naptalis and Roy Rankins album on CF. What a hard to find gem it is. :(

I go for your second question, records that haven't been re-released yet (and probably never will either)
Of course, wicked records not the ones that suck.
I have never heard of the ones you name, and that is what i meant.
Give thanks!!

If the question is: Is there an artist whose music may not have been promoted well and needs to be reissued, then I have someone in mind.
Telford "TILLY" Nelson has a 12" called PON DI ROCK...it is amazing roots, rock-steady vibes. EVERY single tune is GREAT. It is from the late 1980's...I burned it to a CD and it's getting some AIRPLAY long overdue. (I GOT HIS PERMISSION)
He sounds like Tabby from the MIGHTY DIAMONDS. Too bad all that talent is wasted singing harmonies ONLY for CULTURE at the present time.
Tenastelin and Keety Roots music is underappreciated as well. Trying to get the DJ's to start playing more of them....wicked vibes! AIRPLAY is KEY~

Kalcidis,

Yes, I have wondered how rare this Roy Ranking & Raymond Naptali LP is... I have it on CD-R, but have never seen the vinyl before.

It's pretty rare. It pops up on eBay every now and then, but the price has almost doubled the last year.

When you once could get it for £30 now you have to pay approx. £80.

About McWoner... you can forget an LP, unfortunately... he did only one song... but would be good to at least to repress it with a better matrix quality than the original press...

I would love that they repress the LP Rastafari by Errol Holt and if they could repress the 12" of Dont Mash Up Creation by Sharon Likkle... would be great too...
