I went on this this site listed as a Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer site and was a little bit amazed by this
"Being extremely disappointed with the deplorable homophobic propaganda speeches that Bunny Wailer made during his latest tour, I decided to close this part of the site indefinitely."
Just curious if any other forum members find this to be ironic since Peter was a strong Rasta and proablly would have concurred with whatever Bunny had to say at his concert.

Re: Bunny Wailer banned for homophobia
Although I have some very good friends who 'walk on the wild side' - I tend to agree with Jacob's view of how the Most High views this practice.
But like Jesus, I don't think it is right to judge or point the finger, because I believe only a person free from sin has any right to do that.
I also don't like the way the truth is being watered down to appeal to the sinful society we live in. Many religions are ready to compromise their true beliefs for the sake of popularity. Truth is truth, but it isn't always popular.
However, freedom of speech is a universal must so blanking Bunny because of his stance is also wrong in my eyes. But then I guess it is up to the webmaster, it's his site after all.
But I don't believe in violence or punishment toward another who's sexuality does not line up with mine or another's views. Just as I don't believe in violence against those who do not share my political or social views.
However, I do beleive in the right to defend I-self and I bredren and sistren, with force if need be.

Re: Bunny Wailer banned for homophobia
One of the things that worries me here is that so many people who have taken a public stance against something they call sinful, including homosexuality, have so often later been exposed as hypocrites.
rnid's words about the speck in a brothers eye (well, actually Jesus' words) were exactly the ones I alluded to in my original post in this thread.
There's a similar saying in Vedic (Hindu) literature which warns that the very thing you critisize another for will be the thing you do yourself in the future.
As for the Jamaican's shunning homosexuality because it is sinful, that's all very well. Please don't feel no way if you come from J.A. But I wonder what the Lord makes of slackness inna dancehall? And I imagine H.I.M none to happy about people with multiple baby mothers?
And what is worse? A man who has no love for God, or a man who has deep love for God but just can't help himself also loving his fellow man just a little too much?
We have to be very careful before we judge another.

Bunny wailer is a humble rastaman. bunny wailer is a fiyahmon. the role of the rastaman and fiyahman is to flash lightening, clap thunder, and burn plenty, plenty, fiyah in these places of unrighteouness.

Re: Bunny Wailer banned for homophobia
Homophobia within rasta/reggaedom needs to be taken in context. Bunny has grown up knowing a certain set of values and he cannot be blamed for being a product of his environment.
There is only one judge that is worthy to judge you or I or a batty bwoy.
Let him without sin cast the first stone.
ps... great sight , greetings from New Zealand
