I was just wondering why Apple Gabriel left Israel vibration if they were brethrens since childhood.

Respect to the " Unconqured people" and "stregth of my life".

I think what happened, aint sure, just heard, but they are saying that they each went their own way trying to purse a solo career. The only one that was able to get a record deal was Wiss and recorded Mr. Sunshine for the Jah Life label backed by the Freedom Fighters. For Apple gabriel and Skelly nothing came to them only a few singles for U-roy and and Errol Thompson. When they became Israel Vibration again they released "Strenght Of My life" for RAS records. Trying to keep it together as a group. "Money" was the main argument, Money that Wiss had made for Mr. Sunshine, Apple felt he should of had some money for Wiss's Sucsess on the record which he wasnt apart of. But thats what I heard and I did a little research myself some stuff i did find do to what i had heard and it all does kinda make poetic sense.

In fact, Dr Dread of Ras Records spoke to Apple who wanted to record solo for him and told him : Ok, but I'm interested in the whole group ! and so the members of IV were together again...

the real thing is the fact that neither Apple alone or the new "2 members" IV are strong...They must be re-united NOW !!! Its an order !!!

Diego, I think you are right about the group to re-unite again. They would be much better and stronger if they could get together again. Apple used to sound really good with Wiss and Skelly and vise vesa . Their albums were sounding much better with the mixture of each artist cuts on them. Hopefully "one day its gonnah have to be pay day" for each individual and the will RE-UNIT.

I think the main problem with all this bands (black uhuru, israel vibration,the wailers, and many many more) focus on the money and ego they are very succesfull and produce a lot of money to the record companys and this evil companys put pressure to the artist to purse a solo career and make more money we are humans and in this century we need the money for everything.
for me is a shame because all this bands have a lot of talent to give to us the followers
it is a selfish attitude of them.
