Re: Skatalites in Dub
We have a chart that we can email to you that lists all of the tracks on all of the dub releases, as well as the original (non dub) release, The Legendary Skatalites (later re-released in slightly altered form as African Roots). The chart shows the various titles of all of the tracks. Please email me if you'd like this chart.

Motion stuff is carefully mastered (or remastered) This is a quality re-release label. People who love music and have taken care in their work.
That's my opinion. I have some stuff on this label. It's all quality.
There are some terrible re-releases and represses out there, but these guys show it can be done properly and put the likes of the (recent) Jet Star label to shame (that is French Jet Star, not the original London based company). Jet Star FR just play a record, record it onto CD and sell it. Pops, crackles, everything still there. They don't even bother to seek out a mint copy of the LP first.
But I have to thank Jet Star France for driving me back to original vinyl. When I bought their release of a King Tubby LP on CD...

...I listened to it and realised it was recorded fromt he LP and thought "I might as well have just gone out and bought this on original vinyl myself." And so I did, and that's the point where my vinyl obsession (Part 2) started! 2 years and about 3,000 records later, I haven't looked back at crappy rerelease CDs and I guess I never will.
