lace me up...

Post by jessijamez »

i am desperately seeking any recordings of "knolwedge." any info about the sales of ANY ALBUM by knolwedge, particularly "stumbling block" would mean more than gold to me. I'm also looking for any Viceroys and Ijaman Levi since were here talking about records we wish we had...but, somehow are never able to find.

Knowledge eh? Only recording I've seen by them is the 12" What's Yours with Tapper Zukie - I think Leggorocker now has that?

Those recent Trojan rereleases of Stars label 12" discos are still relatively easy to find online. I have recently sold the HAil Dread LP, but in my personal collection I still have the stumbling block LP (tamoki wambesi) and even a rare 12" disco from michael "knowledge" samuel (mixes with a tune from noel phillips' youthman vibrations LP) -I would be willing to give up. P.M. me .

this is some top notch roots. i highly recommend it. if you are OK with CDs, then you should be able to find this easily.

Just sold the stumbling block...
Ive never heard fully the JUDGEMENT LP (500 pressings, it seems), only the 12" taken from it... seems to be a very Tuff album. It was produced by a girl in my country, Switzerland, surprisingly... And its probably easier to catch copies here in bazars than on ebay... as it was partially released and sold here. Ive a friend that found his copy in a standard old record shop down his street... incredible, Knowledge!!
You can catch a nice and long interview of Knowledge here: http://www.reggae-vibes.com/concert/kno ... ledge5.htm

really interesting, youll probably know all you want as the journalist seems to have a wide... knowledge.

If anay of you have the JUDGEMENT LP and want to share... I would be pleased to receive!

I've seen the "Stumbling Block" rereleased on CD at my local shop.. I'm not sure who rereleased it, but it should be easy to come by.
