Any news about this great band...?
I saw a 2005 demo with unreleased tracks around the net but don't know if is there a new release. The official website isn't updated.
Somebody knows where are they from? or any link for more information.
Thanks

Re: Rohan Lee & The Recipe
The Recipe is from The Netherlands. By time, Rohan Lee, the Recipe and the manager didn't get along very well. They broke up and everyone went his own way, rohan to jamaica (heard he was in the UK recently giving workshops), the recipe stayed in the netherlands, and the manager in belgium. they released one cd: ["for the poor"](http://reggaedb-dev.kayalion.net/index. ... bum&id=237). love it, nice roots reggae with lot of potential, to bad they split up ...

I'd like his voice too... and The Recipe sounds great, it's my roots sound taste (i'd like recommendation about bands like The Recipe's sound...)
So any news about the band, some project with another singer maybe?

Rohan Lee is alive and well; i was on the phone with him a week ago.
He will probably come over to belgium the end of june 2007 (for my wedding).
He indeed gave workshops in the UK in the summer of 2005 and 2006; but this year the city wouldn't free any funds for this.
I have some ruff versions of new songs that he recorded in JA thru a producer friend in Boston.
The before last time i spoke to him on the phone he said two tracks were released but he didnt have the details as to which record label....
I doubt we will ever see a cd again together with the Recipe. i also like the sound of the "For the Poor" cd but indeed the manager cause a split between Rohan & The Recipe and those wounds have not yet fully healed.
He did perform in belgium with the belgian reggae band Mighty Pirates. I have some pictures of that online (and a bootleg recording; well rohan wanted me to record it). Check out the pics at http://entertainment.webshots.com/album/226134460yJVNNH
