My English is good and I still cannot understand the meaning of this word..... "she's gone pon palavin spree...."

I could be wrong, but I believe it is something to the effect of: superficial/haphazard/imprecise/bad work/aimless???

i'm fairly certain that "palaving" is showing off - making a spectacle of one's self in public.
