The killer Return to Umoja CD has been reissued on LP/CD recently, and it's called House of DEB, DEB label.

That's pretty weird to compare him to Charlie Chaplin.... Chaplin is a deejay and Earl C. is a singer. I don't get the comparison here...

For curiosity's sake, I would be interested in hearing Chaplin sing. Can you tell me where I could hear something?
Thanks,

Definitely an underrated artist in my opinion and also happens to be one of my favorites.
He has two killer 12" called Jail House and African Man.
I will upload them if you guys want to hear them.
Maybe that will change someone's opinion.

Yeah true insAne... forgot that tune for Shaka that is nice too...
Ive always thought to be excessivly exigent with roots music... But am sometime astonished to hear comments like you arize_rootsman...
I really dont understand how somebody can find weak *Gates are Open Wide* and *Got to know that place* ... How can you appreciate the rest, then??
