I'm trying to remember the colored wax i have and three come to my mind :
- "Jah son of Africa" by U Roy on a Virgin red wax ( http://www.roots-archives.com/release/1811 )
- "I & I" by The Regulars ( http://www.roots-archives.com/release/693 ) on a green transparent wax
- Owen Grey "sings Bob Marley" on transparent wax, not listed in roots-archives and i believe it's on Burning Sounds label (i'm not at home). If you are interested by this one, i saw it on sale on ebay few days ago, maybe it's still available.
The first (U Roy) is not very powerful (but i don't have the non-coloured one so i can't compare), the 2 others are OK (to my ears )
I have noticed that the Burning Sounds label seemed pretty keen on coloured vinyl. Many of my 12 inch 45s by them are red vinyl - red for burning?
Greensleeves also seemed to like green vinyl, obviously.
On Cha Cha I have only two 12 inch 45s, one is Blue the other an amazing lilac colour (yes!)
And on the Art and Craft label (as also on many Black Roots cuts) yellow seems to be the favoured colour.
If anyone has any REALLY beaten up and unplayable coloured vinyls (reggae) I'd like to buy them - especially if the vinyl is shot but the labels are intact and without graffiti.
