this LP pon the kibwe label. anyway. if anyone has a good pic a this LP, coz it has a picture of trevor castell, inna group photo on the album. i believe him and trevor junior are the same person, voices are quite similar if not the same. i know how trevor junior look like, so just want to confirm mi belief i just need to see if it really indeed him.

thanks everyone for the feedbacks dem. papa gunusantos, respect. i eould love to see, the group pic of the album to confirm it myself as well.

do yuh 'member 7" trevor castell- cool & deadly (gorgon). on an interview i have of him in a ole article from the reggae quarterly, him mention all him chunes dem except that one "cool & deadly", if indeed that was him, why wouldn't he mention it. i hear fram time ago that he is also the brother of lacksley castell. so if anyone could a help mi with the photo line-up of that album that be great.

I also heard a lot saying that trevor castell is indeed lacksley's brother, and i firmly believe it's true...

Now about trevor jr. and castell being the same... I'm not sure coz i've heard cool & deadly, by trevor castell... and also heard other rec. by trevor jr., so I always thought they were the same coz of their voices...

On the front cover there's only an old picture of selassie...

There's three pictures in the back, one with "michael enkrumah" riding on a bike, another with "supa wes", and another with the "KIBWE CREW"...

I'm not sure but i think trevor castell must be the third guy from left to right coz the guy looks very similar to lacksley... but i could never confirm that... maybe he even isn't in the picture, coz there's no picture of sugar also...

I'm gonna take a picture of the back cover for u to check... coz i don't know how trevor jr. look like... so maybe u can confirm this better than me...

i'm really glad yuh is quite interested inna the theory and possibilities. an i hope trevor castell is indeed in the picture to confirm. i have bout 3 to 4 pictures of trevor junior. if you want to see one to compare also. check this, http://www.roots-archives.com/release/1996, it is a link to sugar minott's hidden treasures vol. 2. he is on the far, far right, the one at the end.
i also have the trevor junior and littel john on sir tommy's, they might have a pic on roots-archive, lemme check. i guess not. also have one inna nice article in the reggae quarterly. if yuh dun have these magazines, it really a must have for avid, early to mid 80s reggae enthusiests. it's beth lesser's magazines, where she interview most of all the artist dem inna waterhouse. if yuh like the book "king jammy's", which is also written by beth lesser, yuh gone love these magazines. theres very few left, i suggest, yuh try looking her up on the net. if interested, i'll try an find her email, for ordering direct. these magazines are really part a history.

anyway, hope to also get a pic a that album yuh have as well. and yeah check out that link mi sent yuh, so yuh can confirm as well.

i jus talked to trevor elliot, of musical ambassador, yuh know the veteran producer who bought the the rights to the entire negus roots catalog. anyway him tell mi seh, trevor junior and trevor castell, are not the same person, dem two different people. him tell mi direct, that yes, trevor is indeed lacksley castell's brother. but the thing is him jus seh trevor, not trevor junior nor trevor castell. but i'm going on the obvious hunch, which is trevor castell. since yuh was already talking bout yuh hearing definately, trevor castell is indeed, lacksley castell's brother.
i also woul like to add, that he was going on a trip to see robert palmer, who was the original owner of negus roots, an he was going to ax him share more in depth things bout lacksley castell, as well as to see f there are any other surviving photos of lacskely from that time.
so cross your fingers an i'll yuh posted.

thanks for all the info shared... in the picture you showed me from "suggar hidden's treasure" don't seem to be the same person from the "trevor & sugar" LP... so I believe this confirms the info Trevor Elliott has passed you... them seem to be differents persons...

I also got very interested on those magazines.. as I'm a big fan of all waterhouse artists... this seem to be some amazing material from the era, so if u could link me up with Beth Lesser or ask her if she still has some available, i'd be interested in buying them...

Whenever u talk to the musical ambassador again, don't forget to cheer him up for me, as his Negus Roots reissue program made me very happy... I'm buying every single release, either pon LP or CD or single...

BTW, I do have an mp3 of "trevor jr. & little john - showcase" pon sir tommy's label... I've always tried to find the original, but no way... it's very rare and tuff to find... so maybe if u could also take a picture and send me I'd be very pleased, coz I also never seen this cover...

Thanks again for all info, and I'm gonna wait for some more info on lacksley and his brother... and maybe some pics from that era, coz they are ver sparse...
