Two Sevens Clash - 30th Anniversary Edition

Post by 6anbatte »

Hi

Just read about (and subsequently pre-ordered) the above release on Shanachie (45065) on 3 July.

"Bonus cuts include the 12" version of "Natty Dread Taking Over" with I-Roy".

Does anyone know any more about this? Other bonus cuts?

Thanks.

Every track is a classic.
bonus are:

See them a come 12" a + b side
I'm not ashamed 12" a + b side
Natty dread taking over!2" a side.

The 12 " are killers

If you don't have the album buy this cd.

Thanks Lion.

Saddo that I am I have this on vinyl (from back in the day), CD and I have now ordered this for the bonus tracks.

Had the good fortune to see them a few times in the 70's and they really were the best gigs I have ever been to! Unbelievable.

6anbatte- That is cool you saw them in the 70's. I bet they were incredible shows. I saw them several times in the early 90's, and those were great too. Where did you order the cd? I checked Ernie B's and Shanachie's site and didn't see it listed in either. Thank you!

Hey Todd

When I use the expression "a religious experience" I do not exaggerate! Seriously unbelievable.

I ordered it here - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Two-Sevens-Clas ... 232&sr=8-1

That is awesome. Joseph Hill was such a great live performer. He was just in total control on stage. Thanks for the link.

Hi Todd

My pleasure.

Hi Dubisamust

That is with Kenyatta, as opposed to Joseph (RIP), on vocals though.

Hey Dubisamust

Yes, it is a great shame.

I have heard that about Kenyatta as well. Should be a good gig.
