Funkyfred-if it was Jungle then it would have to be "6 million ways to die" or "Fire"///Ragga "Boom Bye Bye".But I cant think of a Roots track as it would only make me wanna shake his hand and say "Lets go down Pub,sink a couple, and talk about it"

Re: reggae drug!!!!
Any version of:
"You Just Can't Conquer Natty Dreadlocks"
Johnnie Clarke does a great version on his Reggae Rebel LP:
http://www.roots-archives.com/release/2279
entitled 'Conquer Me'
And there's brilliant a version on Dr A's monster 'Best Dressed Chicken' LP:
http://www.roots-archives.com/release/904
This one fires me up everytime.
And I always find Marley's 'Get Up Stand Up' very motivational too.

I used to box, and everytime I would enter the ring, I would listen two tunes before it, always those same two tunes in same order.
First, I would listen to "Taking Over" - a Sizzla tune. Then I'd listen to Capleton's "Final Assassin".
These two tunes had an amazing effect to I - every single time. A rush of both will & power. Those songs really gave me the ideal mindset for boxing fights...
Warrior style!

Once I read about a research that concluded that listening to the music of your choice before doing something important makes you improve your performance (for example, a test).
By the way "harvest time" by Don Carlos always lift me up, makes me think of a better world, really energizes me. Also "jesus selassie i keepeth my soul" and "I'm a levi" by Ijahman transport me to a higher dimension

Also I recently read a magazine interview of Georges St. Pierre former welterweight champ of the UFC he stated he listens to Elephant Man & Sean Paul.
