Winston Reid....same as Winston Reedy who did Shower Of Rain???? Blessings...

Is that true? Wow - never would have made the connection.
I saw the Cimarons support punk band Sham 69 in 1978 in Portsmouth UK - they were excellent.
In 1984 I played Bass in the support band Sound System at the Winston Reedy gig in Portsmouth. It was the tour to coincide with his Dim the Light LP. Winston and his backing band for the tour The Nubianites came back to our after gig party - really excellent evening - superb bunch of guys!

i think there is a dvd that circulates after this tour;i think the concert was in london mighty z.i wish we could see these guys come back together again as cimarons.such a nice and live band.
