21€ (shipping cost included when it's by mail, often from England to France) so £14 three times :
- Misty in Roots : Live at counter Eurovision (I could have paid less but that was the beginning) by mail
- Tradition : Tell your friends about dub
- Trojan Story (3 LPs original TALL 1 from 1971) by mail
But that was exception to the rule. I very rarely pay more than £6 or £7 for one album and have an average under £4 (mainly 60s and 70s press). Music is far more enjoyable when the money is in my pocket and not in the speculator's one.
And never more than £1 for 7" and 12" (i'm not really hunting them).
What i spend to find them is time, and it's hard to evaluate.
I was wondering few months ago if some serious collectors that i see on ebay spending £100 or even £1000 for one disc were reading R-A forum or using R-A ; obviously there's at least one of them
.
By the way, if your heart is strong enough, check www.popsike.com to realise how much collectors are willing to pay.

I've paid between $75 and $150 a number of times.
And between $25-$75 more times that I'd ever admit.
I'm a fiend for original vinyl, gotta pay to play folks.

Re: the most $.$$ you ever paid
It's all a matter of time spent and it's even harder in France than in UK. It's certainly not on main reggae ebay section (sometimes it is but it's rare).
Look, i've just found http://www.roots-archives.com/release/4102 (rose silkscreen cover from studio one (not Winro)) and http://www.roots-archives.com/release/2623 on Grove Music for about 8€ each LP.
Yes it is harder than buying "Featured items" on ebay but that's what i love to do. I have no pleasure to buy expensive LPs. I have pleasure listening to good music whatever the price it costs and a bit of satisfaction when i know the LP is rare, a feeling that i have a privilege. Maybe I also feel I deserve it because I spent a lot of time searching and it would be too easy to pay for it. Indeed, it's a sum of all this and it's quite hard to explain

Wow, that Dub Specialist album looks amazing!
No deals like that in California that's for sure.
The prices you listed are unheard of here.
I do my share of digging/searching but it's tuff when you're up against cat's that solely shop to resell.
There ARE deals out there though you're right.
In the real world & on EPAY...i've got lucky before.
Sadly though it's looking like those days are about over.
