rare bob marley track

Post by substance »

I used to have a tape with a bob marley track that i simply cannot locate anywhere.

I don't know the title, but the chorus went something like:

"In this festival, right now.... inna this festivity..."

One of the verses spoke of "Malcolm and Martin were two great men, of much conviction..."

The chorus had horn sections and overall it is a lovely tune.

If anyone can help with the title i'd appreciate it.

Yeah... mos def.. it was bob... I was thinkin that the title had suttin to do with 'festival' or 'festivity' as this is what he repeated in the chorus...

I've been collecting unreleased Bob for several years, and I'm sure no tune matches that description.

Are you sure it's not Jacob Miller?

Bro, I guess youre speakin about the tune of Carlton Coffie called "World Festivity" that is commonly compared to the wailers'style.

Start with "Release yourself!"
I remember those words at the end of the tune...

"Garvey and Martin, you know who I mean, were two great leaders with such convictions..."

"You gotta lively up yourself"
