Actually, this melodica thing, it's not all that sudden, as threads have been flaming melodicas here for some while. I tried to search for them, but can't find them!

I've read everyone of your answers in this thread in detail and am loving your suggestions.

@MightyZ - Actually, 'Original Rockers' does not appear in my record collection although I have it one CD. I know we all played it to death back in the day (I can remember us all sitting in a small flat somewhere in Portsmouth a long time ago blazing a massive challice while Original Rockers span pon de turntable).

But when I listen to it nowadays I find the melodica grates somewhat. I think we overdid it back then.

However, once I see a great original copy somewhere, I will buy it again for old time's sake.
