Anti-patois forum?

This may sound a little rough - but outside of the occasional word just for fun, I'd rather not see non-Jamaicans use patois as 'regular' writing - it's as tough for me to take as seeing dreadlock guys with no beards, or even a go-tee.

Maybe you can make a parallel between writing in patois and wearing dreadlocks (as a mean to feel more Jamaican or Rasta, tough for me too) but that's definitly different, to have dreadlocks (with or without a gotee) doesn't affect your communication with people from all around the world, to write in patois does.

Due to the "PM" messages and the obvious bias that seems to pick on only ME using patois, I have decided to be the subserviant little dormat you all seem to want. Therefore,
I "Rootsgal", solomley swear, NEVER to use patois ever again on the roots-archives.com forum since, nobody can comprehend what I am writing.
