You should definitely check him out. He has made some great albums:

• Man of the ghetto
• Wise man
• Ranking ghetto style

Don´t know if the albums are on cd, though. The lp might be hard to find. But keep trying, they are definitely worth the effort.

I think they are mostly compiled on Survival is the game, Young Tree records, easy to get bu the net.

"Chip In" is a top Album as well, though the cover is crap. Nice mix by scientist & tubby...

I dont know all of Winston Jarrett but i dont like "wise man", maybe cause its the same music that KNOWLEDGE "stumbling block" where they sing better, but i like "Unity and livety", nice album.

Winston is a crucial link in the history of JA music! he was one of the original singers in The Flames behind Alton Ellis and his extensive catalogue includes some classic sweet Rock Steady at Studio One! The man is deep!!!!! Maximum Respect to Flames jarrett!

Also known as Killerman Jarret when singing for producer tony Shabazz. Even has an unreleased LP for him.
