Taped live in the dance, so quality is not fantastic, have tried to clean it up as much as possible....

I *was* born back then and did actually go to Sound Systemsin Bristol and Bath. Although I used to stick to the small blues dances often held in Baptist church halls!

Do any of the Bristol venues play classic reggae? Or is it all new stuff?

I'd love to get a gig for Leggo Rocker's Hi Fi and the MightyZ All Stars in Bristol or Bath.

Bristol is pretty good for reggae nights at the moment, theres at least one every night of the week now, i havent been out for a while to hear what the local sounds are. But venues such as the Star and Garter have a different reggae dj on every night, even though its just a pub, theres bound to be a good selection.

Big soundsystems hit venues like the ones i mentioned about, they tend to be more uk steppers, but then shaka, has done sets there too.

Me and MightyZ are seeing what we can do about getting you guys a spot at a festival we're playing at in Sept. Otherwise maybe we could organise a night in Bristol

Star and Garter sounds like our scene. I don't think we can compete with the sound systems and we don't want to play places where they are expecting sounds from the bleeding edge of modern reggae. We're classic roots rockers!
