The CD re-release of the original album called Israel Tafari by Fatman Riddim Section, which is called Same Song Dub (on Lagoon), features on the last track the tune you are looking for, "dance hall style" ... killer !
Hi...
Do yo mean youve heard a vocal version, Leswoodies, or are you you wondering if it exist?
I personnaly highly doubt it could exist, except maybe an overdubbed post Marley version.
The only voiced versions I know are the LP one, the extended vocal that was released on the DELUXE version, and an alternate on acetate with dub (only have a soundclip of it).
Never heard a vocal over that "War" version backed by Fatman Rythme Section, and for sure, Bob never made one.
But I'm looking forward to listen to Cornell's one that apparently should be on that rockers version. (looks interesting DUDLEY 1NE; thanks for the link)
So here is the soundclip of the war dubplate, vocal and dub... Thats 2.02 mo so you better "save target as"... and download will be limited to 2 per hours on the server... (not my choice, of course...) www.geocities.com/liteletauction/war_blank.rm
Enjoy the only dub known of the chune, played by the original Wailers...
