I just purchased a Congos cd (Cock Mouth Kill Cock). I believe this is a new production with vocals recorded on the early roots rythms. I could identify some of the rythms but some I've never heard of. Could someone assist in identifying the originator of these rythms.
This album reminds me of Congos earlier productions. This is pure roots, Cedric's voice never fail to impress me.

hi there mdungu,
got the feast LP which has nearly same tracks, cedric myton with brent dowe of the melodians. crucial music for true, and as you say cedric mytons voice is as always impressive. most of the riddims are channel 1 as far as i know, bunny lee gets a mention on sleeve notes, also recorded at harry j's,joe gibbs and randys studios.
