I have heard of Gombajahbari. They played with my buddies SOJA (Soldiers of Jah Army) when they were in Puerto Rico. I haven't gotten to hear any of thier music, but would love to. Where can I find it? Some of the guys from Gombajahbari are going to be on the new SOJA album, so I am very excited for that.

Best Latin reggae group in my opinion is "ELIJAH EMANUEL AND THE REVELATION". Born in Panama, raised in San Deigo Ca. www.elijahemanuel.com or look him up on soulseek

elijah emanuel and the revelations

Elijah is great, but I don't consider him as a Spanish Reggae singer/band, He has more songs in English than Spanish. Another band like the Revelations are Maiz from California USA.
Anybody here up for a trade?
Got over 200 Spanish Roots Reggae cd's

Does anyone know anything about a band called Sumo. My friend had a CD. They aren't really straight reggae. They remind me of Sublime. Anyone??

Sumo was a rock band that played some reggae songs, the singer Luca Prodan (r.i.p.) was born in England to Italian parents, moved to Argentina and formed Sumo. The band is a icon within the story of Argentine music. Great band, that also played awesome reggae songs. Pericos, on the other hand, is a rock/reggae band that recently released a new CD without Bahiano, its original frontman. Big Yuyo is by far their best CD
