Cornell Campbell 12" to identify

Post by ton1 »

I just bought a 12" on the label Revolutionary Sounds/Germain.
Nothing is written on the label excerpt the name of the label and that it's produced by D. Germain at Keith Records in Brooklyn.

Two (killer) songs are on this 12", one that i will call "Rosemarie" that goes like this :
"Rosemarie come to me
I'm going to see Rosemarie right now
She told my best friend that she's crazy about me..."

And on the other side, it goes like this :
"True love never die, no no no no no,
It's just yesterday since it tell you goodbye..."

On matrix is written C. Campbell on each face plus "Rosemarie" on one face and "Back in these arms" on the other.

Does someone know these songs and their titles (and if they are available on an other album) ? 'cause their are trully wicked !!!

I've got this one - I believe they are both sung by Sam Bramwell (of the Chantells). The titles you list are probably correct.

Edit - looks like D-1's link states the same information.
