>>Trinity - Set up yourself to Earth & Stone - Jah will cut you down

i've always wondered what the vocal cut was...that Trinity single is one of my all time favorites...i've seen more than once, someone saying the vocal cut was from a song on the Mighty Diamonds "I Need A Roof" LP but i knew that wasn't right!
is that Earth & Stone tune hard to get?
single or LP cut?

Hi Rob,
That tune is not too hard to find. I have it on a Channel One single, but t's also featured on the great LP that Pressure Sounds rereleased some years ago : "Kool roots".
Actually, I'd say Trinity's version is harder to find than the vocal. Both are absolutely wonderful, imho.

Mighty Diamonds - Go Seek Your Rights is on the same riddim plus horns

Trinity's cut is on Jah Will Cut You Down which is a different cut of Jailhouse Set Me Free by Earth & Stone (Kool Roots LP)

Both the Earth & Stone & Trinity singles are relatively easy to find imo..

-Alton Ellis Pearl to Calling 1143 by Carey Johnson
-Little Joe's Steve Austin to Rastaman Say by Jr. Ross & the Spears

is this the same Twin Roots as on Lee Perry's 12" 'Know Love' ?
