Roman Stewert, you can get it on this LP which is also available as a repress (the original is VERY expensive if you ever find one). I believe it is also around on a 12 inch single.

Poor sound quality, the original (which I had back int he day and sold for 50p) isn't that hot and the repress even less so. Acceptable though.

There is also a 12" on the Hungry Town label with a killer dj version.
Roman Stewart - Rice & Peas // Felion & The Rocker's All Stars - Rice & Peas In The Ghetto.

Roman Stewart - Rice & Peas // Felion & The Rocker's All Stars - Rice & Peas In The Ghetto.

The Everton Da Silva version and Linval Thompson Versions are different studio takes with two different bands. Both very nice cuts, but I prefer the Strong Like sampson (Linval thompson) 12" Disco version better. I have a copy of the repress LP mentioned above for sale (PM me), this is an excellent and very clean US press. Awesome compilation of Hungry Town Rockers vocals IMHO. ADam
