The tune Washing I Dread By The River...whoa...is a killer! Originally, this song is a ska chune with blazing horns playing the lead melody, the Uniques used to sing on their album.
I don`t remember the name of the ska band or the title.
Any ideas ??

Thanks. I thought I recognised Cornell from both his distinctive voice and the cover photo mentioned by Lion.

But I wasn't sure of the other two due to my limited knowledge of reggae!

It is a an LP worth picking up though. Glad I did!

Uniques 'washing i dread by the river side' is a killer.I normally mary it to 'dubbing it on a bank'by Sly and Robbie with B-Horns' Tommy McCook.

Is it true that 'Give Thanks' album was composed by,arranged by and produced by Jah Shaka.
