Ijahman Re-releases!!!!

It looks as if several of Ijahman's LPs are set to be re-re-released on CD. Both Amazon (US) and Amazon France have listings for Tell It to the Children, Over Europe Live, Forward Rastaman and a few more.
Great news for anyone who collects CDs and is missing these killer albums. I know I don't have Forward Rastaman and am excited to be able to get a copy.
It looks as if the release date is in the next few weeks. Hopefully copies become available soon and they continue to release more of his catalogue (esp. Culture Country).

hi there, have to agree with you bullit, culture country is a class LP. took me a while to get it, love side 2 especially 'lend a hand'. what a lovely tune.

Yeah the whole things good, wondered about this ones desirability and rarity a few times, How much did you pick yours up for?

hi bullit, i was lucky enough to get it off a guy in the u.s. for 20 or 25 dollars about two years ago. i was looking for 4 ijahman vinyl LPS at the time and wasnt having much luck finding 'culture country, entitlment, kingfari and inside out', but this guy just happened to have them and two others that i already had. i bought them all and gave the two i had to a friend. worked out about 20-25 u.s. each which was a bargain. i have seen culture country on ebay since but only once or twice. lovely record, ijahman being one of my favourite artists.

Seems like a good price, i got mine relitively cheap also on ebay about a year back or so, £17 or so, maybe people just missed it and i got lucky.. I wanted it for a few certain tracks on there, but found i loved the whole thing.. Got Haile I Hymm also, what other Ijahman Lp's would you suggest? Theres one or two on a dubplate somewhere i have been looking for..

hi bullit, ijahmans earlier records are far stronger than say 'black royalties' or 'two double six'[my opinion]. but for really good ijahman check out:
are we a warrior
tell it to the children
africa
ijahman and friends
inside out
live over europe
and a good compilation-entitlement. i only have his vinyl releases up to ijahman and bob marley in dub. theres some cd releases after this one, mostly compilations i think. i think you'll enjoy the ones listed above. some come up on ebay now and then. also you could check 'rootstonic' on ebay, musicstack, netsounds etc, his name is chris, has some ijahman from time to time. good luck.
