Can someone let me know about versions to "You're Trying To Wreck Up My Life" I read the other day that Leroy Smart wrote the song, but I only find in RA a Delroy Wilson rendition. I know there's a DJ talking over this song, but I can't place it, any help would be appreciated.

The deejay is Big Joe with the opening track from his Rocking & Swing album.
»Woman a delilah!«
Then there is Jammys dub to it called Wreck Up A Version.
The Leroy Smart with Big Joe following is one of my absolute favourite tunes.

The Leroy Smart tune you are looking for is "I Don't Like It" AKA "Wreck Up My Life". Can be found on L Smart "Superstar" LP. Wicked tune on the "Give Me The Right" riddim (original is Heptones' "I'm Your Man" AKA "Give Me The Right").
Of course the Big Joe cut is killer, as the whole Big Joe's "keep Rocking & Swinging" LP.

There is also a crucial cut by an 8 or 9 year old Little John called "Ram Jam".

Re: Wreck Up My Life
According to this site it's Trial and Crosses, but you may be right, because the track listing on my reissue is messed up, but I'm pretty sure it's Trial and Crosses, because the opening is the line from Leroy Smart, than Dillinger takes over....

There is a Jammy's dub called "Wreck A Dub" and a horns version by Dean Frazer on his album "Pure Horn".
