It would be hard to do without either.

If I were being sent to live on a desert island and could only take one, I'd grudgingly say King Tubby, but I'd rather take something from each.

OMFG thats a tough one...I..i cant decide! i guess i prefer them both...Scientist is much more innovative while King Tubby is a more laidback but still...i love dem both.

How is the Beans production going these days ?

Anyway

King Tubby the originator for the impact he had on the development of dub.

I also think that Scientist was the best of the next generation of dub mixers and moved the benchmark in dub music forward in a different style from King Tubby.

Both these guys were very important to the development of dub during their relevant decades.

So I guess, like always, it comes down to personal tastes.
