Our very little king nicolas sarkozy with David Lynch who seemingly has been made "chevalier de la légion d'honneur" which used to be (a long long time ago) a great distinction in France. (Here is a link to [Wikipedia](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/L%C3%A9gion_d%27honneur))

When you know that Manuel Noriega or Vladimir Putin for instance or some other silly people were promoted, you understand that this distinction is more a shame than an honour. Lots of people have refused it, maybe Lynch is not aware of who gives it to him, who have it and what it represents today cause the man standing at his right is burying culture in France.

Shame'n'scandal ! But that's not the first and won't be the last, it's everyday since a few months here.
