Strictly Bubbling - Massive Dread

Got a chance of this LP cheap on the Jamaican UFO label but know nothing about it. I bought it on chance. Anyone rate this one or know about it?

I just received this album in the mail yesterday. I enjoyed it after the first listen. I have a 12" single called Nice Dem Up, which is great, by Massive Dread that sounds like it would fit nicely on this record. Songs have long, dubbed out versions. Super laid back. I didn't see the record listed here on Roots Archives.

"Vamps pon the corner" song is Murder. Very nice LP if you got it cheap. Massive Dread "Its massive" LP is the one you want to get when you see it.

Played it last night folks. Some tracks are good but most are so so, imo that is of course.

He has a very special style. I think it was called "bubbling style" or something in reference with chicken (perhaps it was his nickname). Can't remenber straight. Anyway, you like or not this style and if you like the LP is a nice one.

His own "Bubbling Deejay style"-Very unique style of voicing. He definitely is not the greatest vocalist, but you cannot complain about the wicked extended vocal & dub version format of the strictly Bubbling LP. STRICTLYROOTS is right though, you would really liket he "Its' MAssive" LP, it has the tune Nice dem up and several other killers! This on is HTF (on vinyl) unlike the strictly bubbling LP.
